The system is a benefit to you and us
Hence, we sat at the front of the bus

We ignore that our luxuries are tainted
For the system has a pretty picture painted
Hence, why we gave out yellow stars
Hence, why as earth dies we look to Mars
Hence, why we let boys drown on our shores

Bearers of truth make for a pretty jail bird
