I have to.

I sense fear yet little movement
No improvement but a new normal
An informal business as usual
A casual affirmation of greed
For need of power and money
Oh Honey, I hope we find the way
Today not tomorrow to arrange
A change to the world we see
For me and you so our children
May listen without fear but hope
To cope with those of our kind
To find the solution to our own making
Without taking from the earth and others
So brothers and sisters means humanity
Not insanity rewarded by our peers
As tears fill my eyes and heart
I start to believe in you, simply because
I have to.
